John F. Hunter Photography

John F. Hunter Photography has been doing photo shoots for our customers for almost 10 years now. John also takes gorgeous ocean photos. He has captured Dolphins, Whales and other marine wildlife around Santa Cruz and the Monterey Bay. He has been kind enough to allow us to use some of his photos as backgrounds for our product pages. Some of those photos I took my self but most are from John F. Hunter Photography. A little about John in his own words….

“I was a building contractor for many years in California and a beach volleyball player until I had to deal with and continue to deal with nagging injuries. I then decided to continue my studies and returned to school studying multiple subjects, but ultimately found a real love for the photography  I had been doing since I was very young.  I had some excellent photography teachers at Cabrillo College in Northern California.

I won my first photo contest in high school. And I was honored to be voted the third best photographer in Santa Cruz county in 2014, my first year  working full time as a photographer. And winning first place in 2015 and second place in 2016. I have been shooting pictures all over the U.S. and many other countries as well, in very diverse situations and conditions. I believe that I have developed an eye for freezing exceptional moments of grandeur, not to mention, the diversity of the places I have seen and the cultures that I have experienced. My life experiences have greatly influenced what I look for while shooting.
